Inspirational Quote:
Courage comes in many forms. Many people are never tested, never have to reach down inside themselves to find enough courage to do the simplest thing. To manage a smile when they want to curl up in a corner and cry. But I think that those who are tested, in ways they never expected, find something within themselves that they didn't know was there. If only courage were enough.

Good morning, Marilia...thanks for accepting the invite. Are you a part of
the Colon Cancer website? I'm sure Suzanne has sent you an invite. All this newer stuff has me a bit confused..I sometimes lose just enough information
to get confused getting to them..
Tuesday...soft and overcast here...'our winter'...reminds me of spring in NJ. I'm an eastcoast girl...jean

Hey Marilia,
How are you? You seem to be very busy and doing well. Can't wait for March to see everyone.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been rather busy since I saw you last March when my wife's breast cancer came back in the form of brain mets. She's had surgery, SRS, and we're closely monitoring her, but she is back to normal activities now.
I finally got our congressman to support HR1738 by working through a friend who is the chairman of the local Democratic party. When she asked him to support it on our behalf, he immediately signed on (and his staff called and e-mailed me to apologize for not taking my requests seriously). It is clear where the levers are now!

I'm doing great! So busy! My girl is figure skating, I'm teaching sex ed (the real kind) and Sunday school, and working three days a week at my real job. That and minding my 90 year old survivor mom keeps me hopping. How are you doing?
