- About Me:
- I provide wellness coaching for cancer survivors to live their best lives through my program "Healthy and Fit After Cancer." I partner with organizations/cancer centers to write grants so I may provide this at no charge to their patients, employees, or community members. Wellness coaching is great for anyone wanting to improve their health, fitness or overall well-being and happiness (eat better, exercise more, lose weight, reduce stress, and/or build strategies for improving happiness). Coaching sessions are mostly done by phone, so it is convenient and private. Our recent pilot study showed significant improvement in quality of life, reduced depression, and improvement in lifestyle behaviors. I also speak to groups about healthy survivorship.

Help rescind new guidelines for mammography
When I saw the headlines in USA Today on Tuesday morning (Nov. 17), I was in shock. I was in Washington DC attending a cancer event and caught the headlines on the way out the door.
