Patrick and his Lady show what true Love through Strife can look like and feel. I have Loved him as an Actor in "Dirty Dancing" and more. He Will be missed as one of the true leading men in any Studio.

- My Name is Bobby Lister, I was on this site before but had to get a new address and password to get the entry right.
I have now survived 107 Surguries, 4 bouts of Malignant Cancer Repoductive (complete removed) Lung, Lymphoma as of Easter, They got the whole site and no Chemo or Radiation, till now. I also have Fibromyalgia, Asthma,and Advanced Osteoporosis. I have "Blue Coded"3 times, and survived 3 Pulminary Embolisms. I start the Lymph Radiation on the 27th and will have to go thru 18 treatments. They just did a PET/CT scan and there is no places that showed up as Cancer. I do have to have my Thyroid taken out the middle of August due to growths on both sides of the organ.
I have S.L.E. (Lupus) and it makes me allergic to myself. It took the "Protector" B-Cells and turned them "aggressive". The Cancer then can move in a grow. That is what will happen to the Thyroid if they don't get it at this stage. I have faught Lupus since I was 24, It's an old "enemy,mine". I also have Asthma and one lung, Fibromyalgia, Advanced Osteoporosis (due to Lupus ate my stomach-ulcers-I had to have an artificial stomach made-a pouch) I have no Calcium or Vit. D in my body. My whole body has bones like styrofoam. I have lost 4" last year in height. I lost my right knee due to the "crumbeling" of the knee cap. I have to wear braces on my ankles to keep them from being completely gone,The long bones in the leg are already bending and giving away. I do know what is ahead as the bones desintigrate, I will adapt.
I have been married 47 years to my "Darling Companion". I met him when I was 17 and we married at (me)18 he was 20. He still calls me "his Bride". We go on dates and are enjoying the time we have left with each other. I am 65 years young.
I was born a twin, double teeth, top ribs, appendix, 3overies,2uterious. I absorbed the other twin. I Love life, the Lord,my Husband,children and strive to love my fellow beings here on Earth.
I have taught Art for 30 years, driven "Long haul truck"(short while, not for me) PBX "Long Distance Operator, Worked in Oral Surgery,Oceanography,
Had my own Cartoon Strip for 2 years in a Nevada Newspaper (studied under Charles Schultz) the strip was called "Life in a nut Shell" (R) I have won prizes for poems-National Champion world of poetry (out of 250,000 people around the world, I took 3rd and printed)
I have raised three daughters, 46,42,39, 5 foster teens (got them off " the streets" to safe homes) Two grand sons from ages 8-H.S. they are now 25 and 24. The 24 yr old is in the Army now "over there". I pray every waking moment for all of "our kids".
I am allergic to the Sun (Lupus ,you burn thru your cloths with it) I am not able to garden any more so I make my home an indoor garden and happy place to be.
I fill my life with "contentment" and view it as a hunt each day to see where I can find it with out hurting me or others.
I am asked how I stay so happy through the pain, tests, body failures, I tell others, It takes 347 more muscles to frown than to smile...I'm Lazy. LOL
I live with an 8 on the pain scale of 1-10 every day, I know there is no way to live pain free for me, there aren't pills for all the "wrong" so Like the ringing in your ear, it is an old part of my day, If it ever stopped I would be startled.
I have lived through the Bakersfield Quake (as a child), the L.A. Quake, the N.Y."Black out", drove in as Mt. St.Helens "Blew up" (at Chelso, driving a Pinto, double trouble!), and moved out of a home in Pt.Mugu to Fallon Nv. a week later there was my old home under water with sharks swimming thru the carport. A lady told me she was afraid to be around me , I send you all my Prayers for your success and all of ours too. May you be Loved and safe and let a cure be found for us all. I look forward to talking with you all. Thank you for your thoughts and Prayers.

Still Dodging Bullets and Tapdancing in the Mine fields..
Hello to all my fellow Survivors..I have been away for a bit due to a glitz in the net works. I have a new E-mail address and all.
