Dear Suzanne! The symposium was awesome. Thank you so much for your help. My sister and I "jitterbugged" to Jim Belushi who was incredible. We did leave early, missing the picture opportunity. We felt the urgency to look at the SIRT DVD that was giv…

Survivor Status:
Survivor (In treatment or post treatment)
About Me:
I entered Cancerland on April 18, 2008. Diagnosed at the age of 45 stage IV colon cancer with numerous liver mets. 18 inches of my colon was removed. I received treatment at Cancer Treatment Center in Zion for 8 months. Was on some strong chemo but it got the mets down to where they could count them. Currently I have 3 live tumors and 5 lesions. I am doing Avastin and Xeloda in my home state. I will be receiving microspheres treatment in July in NC.

Hi Angel - welcome to this forum. I am a stage 3 rectal cancer survivor (going on 7 years now). I too was diagnosed at age 45. Luckily no mets so far. I also know Suzanne - and am so happy you hooked up with her - she is one of the most knowledgable colorectal survivor I've met, and surely the most inspiring! I will be praying for your treatment to go well and reserve plan B for later, if at all. Pam :)

“AJ, I'm buying the first 100 for my ministry with the team. This is an excellent resource -- clear, applicable, well written! You and Vera have written one of the most significant and useful devotionals I've seen in a long time. Ravens players and coaches will love this tool for training camp! I'm excited to see it go to print and I'm honored to be a friend of one of the co-authors, a true champion indeed.”
